On a beautiful Saturday,February 29, 2020, PBCA was blessed to have Colin Cauble take on the Preston Cemetery clean up as his Eagle Scout Project. 

 

There were approximately 44 people working with chain saws, a pole saw, loppers, blowers and weed trimmers. They picked up limbs, bagged leaves, and burned three brush piles. The cemetery has never looked so good!

Please take a moment to peruse the pictures and join us in appreciating the hard work his fellow scouts, various scout leaders, and some Preston family descendants and friends did to clean up our cemetery.

We estimate that their generosity saved the cemetery association thousands of dollars and we cannot express our thanks enough.

In addition we are fortunate to have developed a positive relationship between PBCA and the Scouts of America and hope to continue with future Eagle Scout candidates.
